International E3 Summit

More than 2,000 people from over 60 countries around the world have already registered for the International E3 Summit. Are you one of them? It's FREE!

If you or a family member has Loeys-Dietz syndrome, there are more than two dozen medical presentations specifically for you, along with 16 quality of life sessions for people living with genetic aortic conditions.

This is an incredible opportunity to hear from the world's leading medical professionals and connect with the people who know Loeys-Dietz best.

The International E3 Summit is a three-week event, which takes place all online, August 25-September 12. It’s completely free to register, and you can participate in as many or as few presentations as you’d like.

Get Involved: The Faces of Loeys-Dietz Syndrome

The LDSF community may be spread out geographically, but we are always together in heart and spirit.

To celebrate our shared experiences as a community, we are launching The Faces of Loeys-Dietz Syndrome campaign in early September. We'll be building themed videos using photos and videos from the community to show how we're all in this together, even when we have to be apart.

Details coming soon via the LDSF Facebookand Instagram pages. We can't wait to see your faces of LDS!

LDSF in the Lead

New leaders join LDSF and Marfan Foundation boards

Dawn Reiner and Gretchen MacCarrick were appointed to prominent leadership boards within The Marfan Foundation in July. Dawn now serves on The Foundation's Board of Directors, the governing body for all organizational activities. Gretchen now sits on the Foundation's Professional Advisory Board, which plays an active role in education and support activities, as well as advising on research opportunities and priorities. Congratulations to both Dawn and Gretchen!

We also welcomed three new members to the LDSF Strategic Advisory Board in August: Regina Korochik, Gavin Marcus, and Beth Utz, who also serves on The Marfan Foundation's Board of Directors. We are thrilled to have their leadership and passion joining our team!

Back to School - ish?

Resources for virtual or traditional school

Back to School season has a very different feel this year. Whether your child's school is taking a traditional start, moved to fully online, or is somewhere in between, here are a few resources that might help as you hit the books this fall.

Together we can heal hearts and inspire hope!

The Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation is a division of The Marfan Foundation. Through this relationship, donations to the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation are tax-deductible and directly support our shared mission.
