Dr. James Black

Dr. Black is a vascular surgeon at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include the cellular and molecular events behind aortic wall homeostasis and the phenotypic changes seen in Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, and other heritable aorti conditions of the thoracoabdominal aorta.  In addition, his clinical research interests include the treatment of aortic dissection and arterial thrombosis.
